Vincent Comiskey

Comiskey, Vincent, age 93, of Leonia, on Friday December 11, 2020. Beloved husband to the late Joan Comiskey, nee: Towey. Cherished Uncle to Kathleen Johnson and James Dooley of Massapequa, New York. Vincent was born in the Bronx, New York to Patrick and Margaret Comiskey.

Vincent held a Bachelor’s Degree from Fordham University, two Masters Degrees and an EDD in Educational Psychology from Rutgers University. Vince was a Korean War Veteran, a lifelong educator, a peace advocate and a devoted, husband, brother, uncle and friend. Among Vince’s many passions were theatre, literature and college football.

The family will receive their friends on Wednesday 9:30 – 11:30 AM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”. The funeral will leave Wednesday at 11:30 AM for the celebration of his funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
