Rose Censale, née Cottone, was born on March 7, 1946, in the sun-dappled streets of Palermo, Sicily, a place where the scent of blooming lemon trees mingled with salty sea air—the backdrop of her earliest days. She passed away on April 21, 2026, in the comforting embrace of her Fort Lee, New Jersey home, surrounded by those she cherished most.

From the moment she entered this world, Rose carried with her a spark that was unmistakably hers: a sassy leopard-loving spirit intertwined with the quiet solemnity of a devoted Jehovah’s Witness. Her soul was as kind as it was fierce, a rare blend that made her presence unforgettable. She is survived by her steadfast husband, Ralph Sr., her son, Ralph Jr., who shares his life with his wife Fatemah, and their grandchildren, Eliana and the Ralph III, affectionately known as “Shu Shu.” Also holding a special place in Rose’s heart was her daughter Daniela, whose presence added bright threads to the fabric of Rose’s life story.
