Meyer, Robert, J. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (nee Ulbrich), devoted brother to the late Dorothy Lynch and her husband Robert; Freddie Meyer and his wife Sophie and to the late Margaret Leary, cherished brother-in-law to Barbara Saffery and her husband, C. James Saffery, loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Visiting is on Tuesday July 15, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Frank Patti Funeral Home. Funeral will leave at 11:30 AM, thence to St. John the Evangelist RC Church, Leonia for a Mass at 12 noon. Interment in Madonna Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. Robert J. Meyer of Leonia died July 12, 2025. He was a travel consultant for E. Clarke Travel, Fort Lee, and was a former owner of Falcon Travel, Palisades Park. He had been a teacher and Director of Curriculum for the Palisades Park Public Schools. He was a graduate of The College of the Holy Cross and received a Master’s Degree in Classical Languages from Fordham University. He was a life member of the National and New Jersey Education Associations, The American Society of Travel Agents, Summerstage, a lector of St. John’s RC Church, and the Treasurer of The St. John’s Theatre Ministry.
