He was an Auto Insurance Adjuster for AAA, Newark and a Service Manager for Weinberg Chevrolet, Bergenfield. He was a Troop and Den Leader for the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of America and a Parishoner of St. Michael's R.C Church. Beloved husband of the late Margaret nee; Tenewitz. Devoted father of Judith Tymon and her husband James, Barbara Allan, Kenneth Porkka and his wife Dorothy, Peter Porkka and his wife Brenda, Joanne Chaney, Lisa Porkka Kondvar and Thomas Porkka and his wife Maria. Cherish grandfather of James Jr., Aimee, Meridith, Amanda, Kristi, Katie, Jenn, Brandon, Patrick, Becky, Christopher, Erin and Stephanie. Great grandfather of 16.
