Mate Jurcevic, age 92, of Fort Lee, passed peacefully on May 24, 2026. Born in Croatia he was a long shoreman at the Port Newark. Beloved husband of Rita (nee Mihatov). Devoted father of Dave and his wife Marissa and Gordon Jurcevic. Cherished “Dido” Danielle and Jason. Dear brother of Angelo Jurcevic. Pre-deceased by his brother Slavko Jurcevic. The family will receive their friends on Thursday from 4-8 pm at the funeral home. The funeral will leave on Friday at 9:30 am for the celebration of his funeral mass in Madonna RC Church on the Hill at 10 am.
