Maria Iavarone

Maria Iavarone, born on March 9, 1971, in Rome, Italy, passed away on November 25, 2025, in Hackensack. She was a devoted social worker for Lutheran Senior Life of Jersey City, where she dedicated her life to supporting and enhancing the well-being of seniors in her community. Her compassion and commitment to service exemplified her belief in the inherent value of every individual.

Maria will be lovingly remembered as the daughter of Gaetano and Amedea. She is survived by her sister, Melissa Clason, and her husband Brian, as well as her brother, Gaetano Iavarone, and his wife Elyse. An adoring aunt, Maria cherished her nephews and niece: Mathew, Andrew, Luka, Sofia, Gaetano, and Frankie, each of whom brought joy and brightness to her life.

The family invites friends and loved ones to gather in remembrance of Maria at the visitation held on December 1, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frank Patti  Funeral Home, located at 327 Main St, Fort Lee, NJ 07024. The funeral will leave at 9:15 am for a Mass celebrating her life that will be held on December 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Church, situated at 120 Monroe Ave, Cresskill, NJ 07626.
