Leila Rottler (nee Hubit) age 83, of Ridgefield, New Jersey passed away on Monday January 5, 2026. She was born on August 16th 1942 to the late Lawrence and Edith Hubit (nee Durr) in Union City, New Jersey. Leila was a longtime resident of Ridgefield where she built a meaningful career as a Registered Nurse and Care Manager at Englewood Hospital. She approached her work with compassion, dedication, and a deep commitment to caring for others. Above all, Leila found her greatest joy in her family. Her warmth, creativity, and gentle presence left a lasting imprint on all who knew her. Leila was the beloved wife of 59 years to the late Ronald Rottler and a devoted mother to Brett Rottler, Kara Slover and her husband, Wade. She was a dear sister-in-law to Donald Rottler and his wife Ada; a cherished aunt to Nicole and Danielle; and a loving cousin to Debra Randolph. She is also survived by her faithful cat, Chester.

A celebration of Leila's life will be held on Saturday January 24th from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Frank Patti Funeral Home, 327 Main St. Fort Lee, NJ, opposite to the Fort Lee library.
