Josephine A. Rufo

Josephine Anotalona Rufo (nee: Consalvo), age 94, of Fort Lee, passed away on Wednesday September 17, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and resided in Fort Lee for most of her life. Josephine enjoyed traveling with her family, reading, knitting, but above all else she loved spending time with her family. Loving mother to Christine and her husband Michael Sargenti and Steven Rufo. Cherished grandmother to Christen and her husband Dominick Trentacosti and Michael and Katierose Sargenti. Beloved “GGma” to Hailey, Gianna, Emmett and Everen. Adored sister to Joseph and his wife Marie Consalvo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her loving husband Joseph J Rufo Jr. and son Joseph J. Rufo III. and sister Angela Licitro.

The family will receive their friends on Sunday September 21st from 2-6pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”.
