John Mircovich

John Mircovich, affectionately known as "Mimi," passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 29, 2026, at the age of 95. A longtime resident of Fort Lee, New Jersey, he is now reunited with his beloved wife, Domenica "Dina" Mircovich (predeceased), the love of his life. He is survived by his three children: Andrew Mircovich and his wife, Mary Claire; Anthony Mircovich and his wife, Teresa; and Rodney Mircovich. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Gabrielle Rumbelow and her husband, John, and his great-granddaughter, Sofia; Noel Mircovich and her fiancé, Austin; and Max Mircovich and his girlfriend, Tory.

He was the beloved brother of Gaudenzia Mattessich (predeceased) and her husband, Giuseppe Mattessich (predeceased), and is survived by his brother, Andrino Mirkovich, and his wife, Maria. He was also a brother-in-law to Edvidge "Nives" Hroncich (predeceased), and John Mattesich (predeceased) and his wife, Maria. He will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

John was predeceased by his parents, Andrino Mircovich and Maria Mircovich (née Bussanich).

Born on November 15, 1930, in Sansego, Italy, now Susak, Croatia, John came to the United States with courage and determination, leaving his homeland in search of freedom and the opportunity to build a better life. He was proud of his Croatian heritage and carried the traditions and values of his homeland with him throughout his life.

John was a devoted Catholic whose faith was an important part of who he was. He was a hardworking man who dedicated himself to his family and took pride in the life he built for them. He worked in the transportation industry and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.

John was the life of the party. He loved singing, dancing, watching sports, and spending time with his family. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always made people laugh. Wherever Mimi was, there was laughter, music, and good memories.

Above all, John was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His family meant everything to him, and he was always there with love and support. He was incredibly proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter. His greatest love was his wife, Dina, and they are together once again.

John will be remembered for his kind heart, generosity, love for his family, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

May he rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love of God.
