Joan Comiskey

Comiskey, Joan nee: Towey, age 90, of Leonia, on Monday January 27, 2020. Beloved wife to Vincent. Joan was born in Brooklyn, New York to Andrew and Elizabeth Towey. She was raised in a small town in County Kildare, Ireland and enjoyed a long career working as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner at both Columbia and at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospitals.

The family will receive their friends on Monday 9:30 – 11:30 AM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”. The funeral will leave Monday at 11:30 AM for the celebration of her funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
