Ivan Hroncic

Ivan Hroncic, age 89, of Fort Lee, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Born in Susak, Croatia and formerly of Cliffside Park. Ivan was a talented carpenter and worked at Jersey City Medical Center until he retired. He was passionate about fishing, loved playing the accordion, was a lifelong soccer fan and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Ivan’s deep faith in the church guided his life, and he was a true example of living his religious values.

Loving father to Aldo and his wife Anna, Nick and his wife Christine, and John and his wife Stephanie. Cherished grandfather to Sara, Rachel, Brian, Nicholas, Derek and Kylie. Adored brother to Matteo. Predeceased by his loving wife Imelda, brother Nicoletto and his parents, Nicolo and Anna Hroncic. Ivan also leaves behind many relatives and friends.

The family will receive their family and friends on Thursday, October 16th from 4-8 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”. The funeral will leave Friday at 10:30 AM for the celebration of his funeral mass in Madonna RC Church at 11:00 AM.
