Iliver Angoni

Iliver Angoni, born on January 15, 1931, of Albania, recently of Fort Lee  passed away on June 30, 2026, in North Bergen. Her long and meaningful life spanned ninety-five years and left an enduring impact on all who knew her.

Iliver was the beloved daughter of Abraham and Feraset, both of whom preceded her in death. Her early years in Albania laid the foundation for a lifetime marked by unwavering devotion to her family and an enduring spirit of resilience.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Mirlinda Angoni and Irena, who remain a testament to Iliver’s nurturing character and strength. Her legacy is further carried by her cherished grandchildren, Adrian, Almir, and Elsid, as well as her great-grandchildren, Inor and Amantia, each bearing the gentle influence of her wisdom and guidance. Iliver is also survived by her brother, Adem Harxhi who shared many of life’s milestones and memories with her.

Iliver was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Murat Angoni. Together, they built a family rooted in values of love, respect, and support—values which continue to shape the generations that follow.

Throughout her life, Iliver remained steadfast in her dedication to her family. Her journey from Albania to Fort Lee exemplified her adaptability and resilience, forging connections and upholding traditions that bridged continents and generations. Her presence at family gatherings, her encouragement in times of need, and her gentle counsel will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Iliver are invited to pay their respects at the Visitation, which will be held on July 5, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Frank Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, 327 Main St, Fort Lee, NJ 07024. A Gathering with Family will take place the following day, July 6, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. Burial services will be conducted at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652, on July 6, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
