Esther Disla

Esther Disla, born in the Dominican Republic, passed peacefully at the age of 99 at home, surrounded by family on February 5, 2023. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her sister, Linda, her children: Esther 'Angelita', Ligia, Tamara, Mayobanex, Felix 'Leonardo', her heart-adopted son, Tomas, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren who lovingly called her Tata. She was beloved by her neices and nephews in the US and Dominican Republic and was a cherished member of the community of Leonia for nearly 30 years. Her legacy of love and strength will continue to live through all of us.
