Dr. Lillian Garcia-Doty

Garcia-Doty, Lillian ("Lily", "Loolie", "Lily-Girl", "Doc Garcia"), age 68, of Ridgefield, on Sunday June 22, 2025. Born on October 18, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY to the Late Andres and Carmen (nee: Bancroft) Garcia. Lillian was a School Psychologist for the New York City Board of Education, Bergen County Special Services, and the Borough of Lodi prior to her retirement. She taught Special Education classes at Hudson County Community College before earning her Master's Degree and Professional Diploma at Fordham University and Doctorate degree at Yeshiva University. She would later teach undergraduate and graduate courses at Felician College in both the Education and Psychology departments. Beloved wife to Brian Doty. Loving mother to Ian Garcia-Doty and his wife, Hyo Kim. Devoted sister to Benjamin and Andre.

Subsequent to her retirement, she pursued her "dream job", debuting as "LILY PAD" with Call Us Clowns, a troupe of Caring Clowns providing entertainment to a broad range of audiences, including residents of veterans' homes and long-term care facilities.
