Carmella G Giannantonio

Carmella G. Giannantonio (nee: Corbisero), age 95, of Mahwah formerly of Palisades Park, passed peacefully on May 23, 2026. Born in Fairview NJ to parents Joseph Corbisiero ( deceased) and Carmella Corbisiero (Bannano) (deceased). She was one of 7 children.  Predeceased by siblings Maire Baglieri, Josephine Zack, Anna Mae Francese, Joseph Corbiserio, Salvatore Corbisiero, survived by her sister Rita Martino.

Beloved wife of the late Nicholas Giannantonio. Devoted mother of  Lisa Smith and her husband DeWitt, Robert Giannantonio and his wife Janice LaNeve, and the late Carol Giannantonio. Cherished grandmother of Marissa Giannantonio Muti, Robert Giannanatonio and Tyler Smith.

Connie was a devoted and adoring wife to her beloved husband Nick and a wonderful, nurturing mother to her children Carol, Robert and Lisa. Her heart was always open, whether she was spending time with her grandchildren, filling her home with warmth and laughter, or gathering everyone around the table for one of her unforgettable Italian meals. Cooking was her love language, and her food carried the kind of warmth that only a mother’s hands can create. She leaves behind a legacy in every meal shared, every child embraced, and every moment she gave so freely of herself.
