Anthony Delli Bovi

Delli Bovi, Anthony, “Tony”, age 94, of Leonia, formerly of Tenafly, on Monday November 12, 2018. Born in the Bronx he was a proud veteran of the Army serving in World War II. Wounded in France, he was a recipient of the Purple Heart. During his career he was a proof-reader and type-setter in the printing industry. He was a member of the Tenafly Elks Club and a parishioner of St. John’s Church of Leonia. He will be remembered as an avid golfer. Beloved husband of Mary (nee: Salvemini). Devoted father of Laurie Arbeit, Robert Delli Bovi and the late Louis Delli Bovi. Adored grandfather of Gina, Dan, Rachael and Jenna. Great grandfather of Nathan. Tony will be dearly missed by Mary’s Children Patrick, Donna and Debbie and their children John, Patrick, and the late Stephanie. The family will receive their friends on Friday 3:00 – 5:00 PM and Friday 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”. The funeral will leave Saturday at 9:30 AM for the celebration of his funeral mass in St. John R. C. Church at 10:00 AM.
