Annamae Francese

Francese, Annamae, age 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at The Bristal at Woodcliff Lake. Annamae was born in Paterson and raised in Fairview, and lived most of her life in Fort Lee.

Annamae was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Dominic. She was also predeceased by her parents Joseph and Carmela Corbisiero, and siblings Marie Baglieri, Josephine Zack, Salvatore Corbisiero, and Joseph Corbisiero. Annamae is survived by her loving children Paul Francese (Jenny), Sharon Francin (Ivan), and Karen Hamilton (Robert); her grandchildren Dominic Francese (Erin), Brian Francese (Sandra), Christina Francin Lallier (Ryan), John Francin and his fiancé Nicole Barbieri, and Robert Hamilton (Lauren); and her great grandchildren Marcella and Paolo Francese, Whitney, Claire and Celine Lallier, and Luke Hamilton. She is also survived by her sisters Carmela Giannantonio and Rita Martino, and many nieces and nephews.

Annamae was a long-time active parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Fort Lee. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Rosary Altar Society. Her service and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary was very important and inspiring for her. She was also a Eucharist Minister. She was always so joyful offering the body and blood of Jesus Christ to others during communion.

Annamae was an avid tennis player, playing with friends at the courts at Sixth Street Park in Fort Lee. She loved to travel. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a kind and caring person who deeply loved her family. She was a friend to all who were fortunate to know her.
