Anna Ghibesi

It is with great respect and solemnity that we announce the passing of Anna Ghibesi, who left us on April 24, 2026, in Teaneck, New Jersey. Born on July 26, 1940, Anna lived a life marked by dedication, kindness, and quiet strength.

Anna graduated from Union Hill High School in 1958, an achievement that paved the way for her long and admirable career. For four decades, she served as a legal assistant at Equitable Life Insurance of New York City, demonstrating unwavering commitment and professionalism throughout her tenure.

Beyond her professional life, Anna was known for her generous spirit and compassion. She was a devoted volunteer at Holy Name Hospital, giving freely of her time and energy to support others. Those who knew her remember her deep love for animals, particularly her cherished cats, reflecting a tender and nurturing heart. She was a dedicated friend and a person of profound faith, which was a cornerstone of her life.

Anna was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Valerio and Rebecca Ghibesi, whose memory she carried forward with reverence.

She is fondly remembered and survived by her cousins Matthew Zuppichini and his wife Maureen and their children Dante and Roman, as well as Aldo Zuppichini, his wife Linette, and his daughter Ashley. These family ties were sources of affection and connection that enriched Anna's life.

A visitation to honor Anna’s memory will be held on May 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Frank Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home located at 327 Main Street, Fort Lee, New Jersey 07024. Following this, a prayer service will take place at the same location from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Finally, a graveside service will be held on the same day at Grove Church Cemetery, 1132 46th Street, North Bergen, New Jersey 07047, beginning at 1:45 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Name Hospital.

Anna Ghibesi’s life was one of quiet influence and steadfast devotion to those she loved and served. Her memory will remain cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
