Anna E. Prisco

Ann Prisco passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025. Ann was born in Nuremberg, Germany where she remained until shortly after WWII.

Ann’s quiet strength, resilience and grace were evident throughout her life, especially in the face of loss. Ann bravely immigrated to the United States at the age of 19 with her young husband, Cirildo Valencio, Master Sargent U.S. Army, and their first child, Joseph Valencio. Soon afterward, her husband tragically lost his life in the Korean War. In time, Ann found love again with her beloved husband, Angelo Prisco, and was blessed with three more children. They created a stable and loving home during their marriage of 49 years. Ann was predeceased by her cherished son, John Prisco, and much later by her husband, Angelo. Ann was a kind and deeply understanding woman who truly lived the values we hold dear, carrying within her a rare and beautiful balance of strength and selflessness. She served as a volunteer at Englewood Hospital for many years. Just weeks ago, our family had the joy and privilege of celebrating her 95th birthday, a testament to a life well-lived.

She was a devoted and loving mother to Joseph Valencio, Susan Romei, and Claudia Jablonski and mother-in-law to Janice Valencio and Adolph Romei. She was also a cherished sister to Andreas Seefried and Fanny Hoh and an adored grandmother to John Romei, Christopher Romei, and Jared Jablonski.

A Funeral Mass will be held at The Historic Madonna Roman Catholic Church on Thursday June 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Ann will be interred in the Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee along with her husband Angelo and son, John.

Her strength, warmth, and unwavering love will remain with us always.
