Adolfo Vigna formerly of Jersey City but resided in Cliffside Park passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 96.

Born on March 14, 1930, in Cosenza, Calabria, Italy and emigrated to the United States in 1947.   Adolfo lived a long life marked by devotion to family and enduring love for those closest to him. He will reunite with his wife Angela, and they will continue their 65-year love story.

He leaves behind a family who will carry his memory forward with affection and gratitude. He is survived by his Children, Alfonso Vigna and his wife Diane, Robert Vigna, John Vigna, and his wife Dawn, Angela Vigna, MaryAnn Battaglia and her husband Thomas, Joanne Guastella and her husband Vincent. His legacy continues in the lives of his grandchildren, Jenna, Michael, Anthony, Eric, Brielle, Diana, Vincent, Frank, and Joseph, and in his great-grandchildren, Eva, Lucas, Adrianna, and Amelia. Adolfo is predeceased by his beloved sister Armida DeMiglio.

Adolfo was the owner of Adolfo's Haircutters in Cliffside Park on Anderson Avenue which was a landmark for over 50 years. Always a professional barber you might say "Old Time Barber" he would say " He did a better job with scissors and than a hair clipper To those who knew him best, Adolfo’s life was measured not only in years, but in the family he cherished and the generations who followed him. His presence will be remembered in shared stories, in family gatherings, and in the quiet, lasting bonds that remain long after a loved one is gone.

The family will receive relatives & friends Thursday 4 to 8 pm at the Frank Patti Funeral Home 327 Main Street Fort Lee, NJ {opp. the Fort Lee Library}

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday 9:30 am at Epiphany Roman Catholic Church, 247 Knox Ave, Cliffside Park, New Jersey Entombment will follow at Madonna Cemetery & Mausoleum, 2070 Hoefleys Ln, Fort Lee, New Jersey 07024.
